Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy is Registered as a Career College under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
At RCC, we are committed to supporting our community while providing our students with valuable hands-on experience. Our students, under the supervision of Registered Massage Therapy instructors, participate in various community events to offer on-site massage therapy treatments.
Our typical offering consists of 15-minute clothed massage sessions, making it a convenient and accessible option for event attendees. This approach not only provides therapeutic benefits but also enhances the overall event experience while building goodwill with patrons.
We traditionally participate in events with a duration of up to 5 hours, allowing us ample time to serve attendees effectively.
Our primary goal is to give students exposure to a variety of conditions and diverse populations. We seek to cater to community events that align with this mission. To ensure a mutually beneficial partnership, we ask all interested parties to complete an inquiry form. This will allow us to review the event details internally and confirm that it is a good fit for both parties.
We typically travel within a 15-kilometer radius of our campus in North York. Please keep this in mind when filling out your inquiry form.
We encourage organizations and event planners to reach out to learn more about how we can add value to your event while providing our students with invaluable experience outside the student clinic setting.
To facilitate these community outreach opportunities, we do charge a nominal fee to cover the costs of supervision by our Registered Massage Therapy instructors, as well as transportation of equipment and clinical supplies. We are excited to collaborate with you to promote wellness in our community!
