Recently, our dedicated students participated in the Heatwave Beach Volleyball Event at Ashbridges Bay in Toronto, proudly supporting SickKids. This year marked the 29th anniversary of the event, which has impressively raised close to $5M over the years!
Our RCC students have been a part of this vibrant event since 2009, offering massages through our outreach program—a tradition that holds a special place in our College's heart, as it was near and dear to our founder, Ben Grosberg. This involvement not only allows our students to practice their skills but also contributes to the well-being of the athletes, who are always receptive to receiving treatment before or after their games.
Participating in the Heatwave Beach Volleyball Event has become one of our favorite outreach activities throughout the year. It provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to give back to the community while gaining valuable hands-on experience. The energy and enthusiasm at Ashbridges Bay are always amazing, and our students look forward to this event each year.
At RCC, we emphasize the importance of community involvement in our curriculum. All of our students have the chance to choose from various outreach opportunities throughout the year, allowing them to explore different environments and hone their skills in real-world settings.
We deeply value our long-standing relationship with Heatwave and are proud to support such a fantastic cause. Here's to many more years of collaboration and community spirit!
Term 1 and Term 2 emphasis is placed on learning basic knowledge of the Human Body. In Term 3 and Term 4 the focus will be on the application, knowledge, and the refinement of clinical skills.
